It's a new term and you are invited!
Hello everyone! It's Katy here and this marks the first of many blog posts to come over the next year!
What are you most excited about this year at DAPA? Could it be our Christmas show, a trip away to the theatre or doing an exam? Whatever it may be, we are excited too and next month, we celebrate our 8th birthday. Imagine DAPA is already 8!
Are you looking forward to the return of school? Maybe you've got big changes this year with a new school move? I hope it goes well for you.
This term, we have some exciting plans to work towards including a Halloween Performance and a Disco, and our show a Christmas! This year we plan to have a special Ballet show too! As always we do The Nutcracker so keep an eye out on what we plan for this year!
This term, we have added new classes and new teachers in our locations along with a change of venue in Cashel. The introduction of RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) Syllabus and Exam gradings is a long awaited addition to our Ballet programs. Our Tap and Modern Programs will be a fantastic addition to our classes in Thurles under the guidance of Miss Lea, ISTD.
Examinations are of course optional but act as a fantastic marker for progress and achievement. Every child loves to be rewarded for their hard work and effort.
